Vladimir Putin Chart

Here is a little history on Vladimir Putin from Wikipedia:

VladVladimir Vladimirovich Putin (Russian: Влади́мир Влади́мирович Пу́тин, IPA: [vɫɐˈdʲimʲɪr vɫɐˈdʲimʲɪrəvʲɪt͡ɕ ˈputʲɪn] ( listen), born 7 October 1952) has been the President of Russia since 7 May 2012. He previously served as President from 2000 to 2008, and as Prime Minister of Russia from 1999 to 2000 and again from 2008 to 2012. During that last term as Prime Minister, he was also the Chairman of the United Russia political party.

For 16 years Putin served as an officer in the KGB, rising to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel before he retired to enter politics in his native Saint Petersburg in 1991. He moved to Moscow in 1996 and joined President Boris Yeltsin’s administration where he rose quickly, becoming Acting President on 31 December 1999 when Yeltsin resigned unexpectedly. Putin won the subsequent 2000 presidential election and was re-elected in 2004. Because of constitutionally mandated term limits, Putin was ineligible to run for a third consecutive presidential term in 2008. Dmitry Medvedev won the 2008 presidential election and appointed Putin as Prime Minister, beginning a period of so-called “tandemocracy”.[1] In September 2011, following a change in the law extending the presidential term from four years to six,[2] Putin announced that he would seek a third, non-consecutive term as President in the 2012 presidential election, an announcement which led to large-scale protests in many Russian cities. He won the election in March 2012 and is serving a six-year term.[3][4]

Many of Putin’s actions are regarded by the domestic opposition and foreign observers as undemocratic. The 2011 Democracy Index stated that Russia was in “a long process of regression [that] culminated in a move from a hybrid to an authoritarian regime” in view of Putin’s candidacy and flawed parliamentary elections. In 2014 Russia was excluded from the G8 group as a result of international consensus on the illegality of Putin’s invasion and annexation of Crimea.

During Putin’s first premiership and presidency (1999–2008), real incomes increased by a factor of 2.5, real wages more than tripled; unemployment and poverty more than halved, and the Russians’ self-assessed life satisfaction rose significantly. Putin’s first presidency was marked by high economic growth: the Russian economy grew for eight straight years, seeing GDP increase by 72% in PPP (sixfold in nominal). As Russia’s president, Putin and the Federal Assembly passed into law a flat income tax of 13%, a reduced profits tax, and new land and legal codes. As Prime Minister, Putin oversaw large scale military and police reform. His energy policy has affirmed Russia’s position as an energy superpower. Putin supported high-tech industries such as the nuclear and defence industries. A rise in foreign investmentcontributed to a boom in such sectors as the automotive industry. Putin has cultivated a “he-man” and “super hero” image and is a pop cultural icon in Russia with many commercial products named after him.

Analysis and Prediction of Vladimir Putin’s Astrological chart

Putin has a Libra ascendant with Venus in Libra in the 1st house. Venus in an angle (houses 1,4,7,10) In it sign of rulership or exalted is a mahapurusha yoga, Malavya yoga. This means Venus is extraordinarily powerful. Venus also receives the aspect of Jupiter empowering it all the more. Venus is artistic, graceful, and charming. Aside from the 1st house Venus rules the 8th house and his Moon is in the 8th house in Taurus ruled by Venus. This connection with the 1st house and 8th house can be very difficult in many ways. The 8th house rules control, power, disgrace and death. Putin will undergo many disgraceful and humiliating events in connection to his need to control and be in power. But the 8th house can get people into deep trouble even alluding to death. This may mean his death or the death of many people who surround him. He has many close experiences with death throughout life. The 8th house can be associated to corruption and his tactics may not be the most honorable to achieve his need for power. But with his Venus he can charm his way into anything he desires. The 8th house is also research and secrets, and he made his start for many years serving in the KGB.

Ketu in the 10th house indicates there will be loss concerning leadership as the President of Russia. Ketu is in Cancer, ruled by the Moon. The Moon’s placement in the 8th house is very difficult and further indicates he may be looking at a great fall someday. His Ketu in the 10th house with Pluto reminds me of the same placement in President John F. Kennedy’s chart. Kennedy had Ketu and Pluto in the 10th house in Gemini and Mercury the ruling planet of Gemini was in the 8th house. Similarly, Putin’s Ketu and Pluto are in Cancer ruled by the Moon in the 8th house. The day that Kennedy was assassinated transiting Ketu had returned to its original natal position. This will not occur in Putin’s chart for many years but there is a similar transit that will occur next August 2014, when Ketu will be 26 degrees of Pisces in the 6th house fully aspecting his natal Ketu in the 10th house. Ketu with Pluto in his 10th house indicates his career as President will bring great loss at some point in his life.

The most intense transits this year are affecting his natal planets in the 12th house. Putin has his Sun, Saturn, Neptune and Mercury in the 12th house in Virgo. This combination indicates his connection with foreign affairs. Most Presidents have 12th house planets since their job depends on foreign relations. His natal Saturn conjunct his Sun in Virgo indicates an insecure attitude towards trust with other leaders. Neptune means he doesn’t trust others because he comes from a place of non-trust with himself. On the positive side the 12th house does pertain to charities and helping others who are in need.

April and May will be very intense for Putin as transiting Mars retrogrades over his natal planets in Virgo in the 12th house. April 20-22 Mars will conjunct his Sun while Uranus opposes it and Pluto and Jupiter square his Sun. The Sun in the 12th house is being aspected by the transiting grand mutable cross, which will cause great loss to his reputation and position.

Relating his transiting planets to his dashas is important. The dashas are the planetary cycles based on the nakshatras. The dashas predict the entire life cycles of a person’s life. He is in Saturn’s maha dasha and Sun bhukti. His Sun and Saturn are conjunct in his12th house and the dasha rulers will be strongly aspected by this powerful grand mutable cross. The fact that this is occurring in the 12th house further indicates great losses that are about to take place during this year.

April 27-May 11th transiting Saturn will retrograde 26 degrees of Libra opposing his natal Jupiter in his 7th house. Saturn’s aspect to Jupiter limits opportunities and freedom. His opponents are strong (7th house) and he is due to be limited by the many opponents about to confront him.

But the saving grace that could save his position is when transiting Jupiter enters Cancer June 18th 2014. Transiting Jupiter will be in his 10th house. His sarvashtakavarga score is 40 bindus (ashtakavarga is a point system that can indicate the strength or weakness of a house/sign). This gives Jupiter incredible power when it transits here. And the fact that the 10th house has such high bindus gives reason to him attaining the position of President. But while transiting Saturn is still in Libra it will weaken transiting Jupiter, due to its 10th aspect to Jupiter. When Saturn changes into Scorpio in November Jupiter will gain more power.

My prediction for Vladimir Putin is that before the end of 2014 Putin will be forced to change his course of action or he will have to step down from office. This is clearly seen through the dashas sequence of Saturn/Sun and after October he will be in Saturn maha dasha and Moon bhukti. His Moon’s placement in the 8th house ruling the 10th house of career indicates major loss and change.

Furthermore, his navamshas chart reveals this all the more with his Sun in the 8th house and his Moon and Ketu in the 4th house and transiting Ketu is due to be in Pisces aspecting his Moon/Ketu/Venus in his 4th house.

He will not be welcome in his own country. But as transiting Jupiter is in the 10th house with 40 asktakavarga bindus Jupiter is productive and will increase in power as Saturn moves into Scorpio. I believe he will see the light due to the major shifts due to occur in the economy during this time. The economic downturn will be a great advantage to him and his power will be regained.
